Your data is used to reply to you.

What we collect, why and for how long, under Art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679. Updated 4 November 2026.

What data Only what you write in the site's forms or in an email: name, email, country, the kind of work, the project description and, for the pre-purchase check, the property address and any documents you attach.
Why To answer your enquiry, carry out the check you ask for and, if you ask, prepare a quote. No newsletter, no marketing, no profiling.
Legal basis Pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). That is why there is no consent box.
Where it goes The message reaches the studio's mailbox by email. Server and mail are run by Aruba S.p.A., in Italy, on our behalf. For the contact form there are no other recipients.
Check: the draft For the pre-purchase check we prepare a draft of the quick read with the help of an artificial intelligence model, Anthropic's Claude, which works on our behalf as a data processor (Art. 28 GDPR). It receives the address, your answers and the documents you attach; it does not receive your name, email or phone. Anthropic processes this data in the United States under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR) and does not use it to train its models. To find the address on the map we send it, from our server, to OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) or, for Rome, to Roma Capitale's street numbers; the map on which you pin the building comes from the Lazio Region's Geoportal, also through our server, so your browser does not talk to third parties. The coordinates go to the public services of the Lazio Region, ISPRA and, for properties in Rome, Roma Capitale. The draft stays on our server, at Aruba, for at most 30 days for review, then it is deleted; the architect reads, corrects and signs it before it reaches you: no decision is taken automatically. As soon as you send, you receive an email with the public data read at the point (constraints, hazards, zoning): it is an automatic read, written without artificial intelligence, not an opinion.
Check: payment When the check is paid, you pay on Stripe's page (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland), which processes your card data as an independent controller: we never see it. We receive the payment outcome, the amount and your email. While the payment is pending, the request stays on our server, at Aruba, for at most 48 hours, then it is deleted. We keep payment records for tax purposes, for 10 years.
How long As long as the enquiry needs. If no engagement follows, we delete the message within 24 months. If one does, the data moves into the project file and is kept as the law requires.
Your rights Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (Arts. 15–21 GDPR): write to giancarlo@dibella.design, we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante), garanteprivacy.it.
Cookies The site uses no cookies and no trackers, and loads nothing from third parties: even the fonts are on our server. It only remembers your chosen theme, China or Carta, in your browser's storage.
Server logs Like any website, Aruba's server logs incoming requests, IP address included, for security and operation. We use them for nothing else.
Address suggestions The address suggestions in the check form come from a list of streets in Lazio's main towns, stored on our site: what you type stays in your browser until you send. Data © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL licence.
